Q. May I pick and choose my vegetables?

A. A variety of produce, greens and herbs will be available to choose from throughout the season. You
are able to pick and choose from the items available instead of receiving a pre-packaged box. Limits are
set on less abundant items.


Q. What varieties of produce do you plant?


A. Varieties offered vary based on past performance. Heirloom and cross-pollinated hybrids are planted.
  •  Early Summer (June-mid-July): arugula, beans, beets, bok choy, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers,
garlic scapes, green onions, kale, kohlrabi, lettuce (e.g. Salanova butter crunch, spring mix, leaf, romaine),
peas, radishes, spinach, summer squash, Swiss chard, turnips, seasonal herbs (e.g. cilantro)

  • Summer (mid-July – August): beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, garlic, summer squash,
kale, kohlrabi, leeks, musk melon, onions, peppers (sweet and hot), sweet corn, Swiss chard,
tomatoes and cherry tomatoes (variety), watermelon, seasonal herbs (e.g. basil, dill),


  • Late Summer (September – October): apples, arugula, beans, beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots,
cucumbers, kale, kohlrabi, leeks, lettuce (e.g. Salanova butter crunch, spring mix, leaf, romaine), melon,
peas, radishes, shallots, spinach, summer squash, sweet corn, Swiss chard, tomatillos, tomatoes and
cherry tomatoes (variety), turnips, winter squash, seasonal herbs (e.g. parsley, thyme)


  • We also co-op with other farmers to provide our members with a greater variety of produce.


​Q. What if I can’t pick up my produce that week?


A. You may designate someone else to pick up the produce. If no one picks up your share it will be
donated to a food pantry or shelter.
